ok sooo... it's changed quite a bit form the wip i uploaded a while ago, mainly because i saved over the high res and had to do some MAJOR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY to save it D:

Amelae'in finally finds herself alone and takes advantage of the rare time to let out her inner frustration and pain at not knowing WHY her heart feels like it's been stolen, and at WHY she feels empty and lifeless and broken.

erm. i really wanted to put alot of detail into this, but i just couldn't figure out where... so i settled with painting painstaking embroidery on her dress.

OH and i suck at wings lol.
the tapestry was fun to paint though, especially considering that i've never done one before :B

oh, and i just want to add, since recently i've have ALOT of people claiming that i'm just doing paintovers or tracing.. or whatever. this piece was painted 100% free hand. usually i use a grid method, but out of pure stubborness this time i didn't, to prove to the disbelievers out there that i'm not just taking an image and putting a few splashes of paint over the top. i sketched it, filled it in with colour, painted it, refined it and added the details all just according to my eye. so i seriously challenge you to say otherwise, because i'm getting sick people making accusations.
